This pau d'arco extract in capsule form is useful as an adjuvant in type 2 diabetes because it lowers blood glucose levels through its hypoglycaemic action. It also has an anti-fungal and antiseptic action and is therefore recommended for the treatment of fungal infections (mycosis) and urinary tract infections. Finally, it is also recommended in case of diarrhoea.
